Ouch. I really wanted to quit. I just wasn't up for all that climbing. But I did it anyway.
Considering a 15+ hour bike ride yesterday, I feel pretty good.

You finished the race, so at least now you have the option not to do it ever again. :)
I'm afraid the pain will dim in my memory, and I may end up doing it again.
